whats the difference?
between the capable internal psi on an rs/gs to a gst/gsx? its the same engine right? so woudlnt it be the same psi? and how can some poeple run 16psi w/o internal mods? i jus dont get it.

ok first of all the motor in the RS/GS (420a) is completely different than the ones on the GST/GSX(4g63). so the psi is not the same ,the RS/GS dose not have a turbo. the GST/GSX dose have a turbo ,because of this turbo the motor was built to withstand more horsepower and PSI. from the factory the GSX/GST comes with 13-14 psi.
The motor can also handle about 400hp on stock internals. so this person that runs 16psi, probally just bought a boost controoler and got a new BOV then hit the track and didnt have to worry bout a thing.

the rs and gs have high compression pistons and the gst and x have low compession pistons...that should explain it all...thats why all the little tubo civics can only run 5 pounds (haha)

Well i did see this civic runin 10 psi on it but then the engine started to smoke really bad, and it never turned on again. Its not going to be runin for a long time. Long long time

civics can boost more, but they have to work on internals. they will blow up eventually if they have stock everything. lol not like the 4g63 thats made for it.

Wait WTF the STOCK GS-T and GSX can support 400 hp on a stock engine? If so why do people do internals on the GS-T and GSX?

o0o i got an answer...so they KNOW it'll work and not just say...its good to 400hp...i should be ok...
THEY SAY: o yeah, i reinforced it all, it'll boost 30psi no problem and they never hafta worry!

ok, so my next q. how easy is it to swap in a 4g63 into a rs/gs? and is it the same for older dsm's? meaning do they have the same engine.

if you would have done your research like you were supposed to instead of relying on us to tell you, you would know that it would be easier to sell your rs/gs and buy an already turbocharged car. a motor swap is completely retarded because the engine/tranny is 180 degrees opposite in the 4g63 (turbo) than in the 420a (non-turbo) which means you'd have to fabricate pretty much another engine bay, get new wires/harnesses, ecu, fit everything together properly, and upgrade a whole bunch of other shit. that's in the 2g's. the 1g is a different story. the turbo and non-turbo engines are basically the same except for some internals and stuff like that. they should bolt right in and have the same connectors and all that type of shit. you still might have to upgrade a few things but it should work out right.
