Unhappy radio problems 2001T+C

I recently ran the battery down in our T+C, when I charged it back up to restart it the radio quit... The lights in the equalizer flash but otherwise I have no power , I checked the fuses but thay were all good. I am going to take it in to the dealer but wanted to try and fix it first. I thought there might be some kind of reset but I couldnt find anything... HELP!!!!!!

Re: radio problems 2001T+C

allenw6,
Good luck..........Our dealership doesn't want to do anything with our "ghost" 2001 T&C. Our radio works whenever it wants to........along with the w.wipers, windows and headlights.
These T&C's should be RE-CALLED due to electrical problems! If you change the battery, charge the battery or anything with the battery you WILL have problems. First they say the pc is bad, then this then that. I've found out more on this forum than the dealership did!
Sorry............maybe you'll have better luck than me. Let me know your results.

Try pulling the iod fuse in the pdc under the hood to see if this will reset the radio .

I got the same problem with my 2001 T&C lxi. i disconnected the battery to do some maintenance. now all I get from the radio is the lights in the equalizer flashing. I thought mybe I had to inter a code, be the dealer said the radio was not Anti-theft coded, and should have worked. this is the second time this radio went out. The first time it just stopped working, be they replaced it under warranty. They replaced my head light switch because my lights would go off and on while driving or parked. had no more problem with the lights. If I find out something about the radio I'll let you know...

I found out from a radio shop in Florida, that when the EQ buttons blink on these Chrysler radios means it has a defective microprocessor that was programed from the manufacturer. In fact They no longer repair Chrysler radios....(sounds like these radios are Lemons) Like I said ,This will be the second time I have to replace it in 3 years. I think this time I'll go with an after market. You can reach that site at :

Ugh! I just had this happen to my 2001 TC Lxi. Can someone confirm is it is a radio failure or is it fixable?

Thanks.
