1992 Caprice I Got For Free

I Got A 92 Caprice For Free Its An Old State Police Car From De The Guy Didn't Know Anything About The Car He Said It Wouldn't Start And Set For 2 To 3 Yrs I Picked It Up With A Rollback The Key He Gave Me Wouldn't Open Anything Or Start The Car I Took The Car And Went To A Chevy Dealership And Gave The Vin Num And Got An Original Key Put It In The Igintion And The Car Started With Ease So Basiclly I Paid $4.00 For The Car By The Way It's A 350 Tbi (lo5) Its Not A Lt1 But A Police Intersepter I Think

If your not sure if it is a 9C1, check the part codes on the underside of the trunk. If it says 9C1, its an SEO (special equipment option) police package. As far as being an L05, nothing wrong with TBI. Throttle body injection is a wonderful system. Much better than carb and is simpler than multiport injection (LT1), which means less headaches as far as maintainance/replacement/modification.
