99 Accord V6 17 Tires Help Please

I own a 99 Honda Accod V6 and put some American Racing Wheels and 215/50/17 tires on and this size tire scrubbs if I have people in the back seat - thank God Sears will take the package back. My original tires are 205/65/15...

I want to get some new Falken Hanabi's and need to know what is the biggest (side profile view is most important) tires I can put on this car with out having them scrubb. I have looked at a few sites that have tire programs and they recommend the 215/50/17 but I know those are too big so I need expert advice...
