I have a silver 2000 cavalier w/ 4 white neons. I'm wanting to get a body kit next for it.. Anyone know of any good sites or places in the DFW area who sell good kits?

Do you know of any places that have semi-expensive exhausts, rims, and sound systems? I listen to alot of techno & dance, and I wanna replace my original one w/ a new one that'll make the bass sound good.

As you can tell, I wanna do SO much to my car. lol. All the guys I go to school with are surprised that there's actually a girl that's into cars as much as I am. lol.

High Rev Motorsports has some good ones for good prices.

As does RKSport

You can find rims almost anywhere, just do a google search. And for sound, try circuit city or car toys, or some local shops. Or if you want to get a little more detail on that, try AF's own Car Audio section

I had no clue you are a girl. ME TOO!! That "cheapsite" is pretty good, I checked it out. They are definitely cheap for sure. I am looking to get my cavy hooked up too. Its sucks though. Cause I see alot of people posting that the engine modifications they've made really haven't made their car faster or anymore powerful, pretty much the same. Which sucks cause i wanted to do engine mods before I did appearance. Seems like the only thing that would really boost it would be to get a super or turbo charged engine. Out of curiousity, not including the price of just a kit. But getting the kit( just the kit ) put on and painted, how much does that usually cost??

This may sound dumb but also, I don't know them personally but there are people i know that aren't exactly loaded with money. And they had all this stuff done to their car. They said that they had help from the club that they are in.. Could this be true.. have you heard of this before. a club sponsoring you to have stuff done??

ebay I saw body kits for 200 dollars and they were decent. Shipping is 200. Over priced if you ask me but for 400 dollars thats not bad.

Stay away from "Cheeper" kits and watch what you buy off ebay. As they say you get what you pay for. Also think about Fiberglass Vs Urethane.

Yes Fibergalss is cheeper but it also doesn;t take the abuse and it doesn;t flex very well so you may (will) have fitment issues.

Urethane on the other hand is flexable can take more abuse but the trade off is price.

Stick to repitable companies. Wings West, Aerogear, euribuni and so forth. I can tell you first hand the Fiberglass Bomex knock off on Ebay is not worth it. A guy form my club found out the hard way and just recently bought a wings west kit and is so much happier.

To answer your first question it depends on what you want. A guy in my club has a stage 2 vortech supercharger from RSM Racing for his Eco. Infact if you go to RSM racing's site and look at the ecotec super charger its his car (its blue). He went up there and dropped 10 grand on all his stuff. which includes both front and rear break upgrades. Another guy in my club with a cavy has a rusty orange that fades into silver, also had the handles and locks shaved and his gas filler relocated. That cost him about $2800.

for your second question Clubs usually don't sponsor your ride and give you money. What some clubs get are sponsorships from buisnesses and companies as a whole. Example our club gets all our wheels, Tires and what ever they carry at whole sale prices from a local tire shop. Some clubs get deals with part companies and so forth, but usually there is a reason and its advertisement. For example with our deal its because Falken Tire Wants more of their tires on the street. The person that thought about how to get this out of here used to work for a local tuner shop and relised the best way to accomplish this was to get the local clubs involved and make this offer to them.

This stuff for clubs is usually not advertised due to club trying to keep form getting members who join only to reap the benifits of the club. most clubs don;t disclose this information until you have already been accepted or make you wait a certian amount of time before you can reap the benifits to ensure you are there for the right reasons.
