Gas Milage...

How many miles can you guys go on a fulltank of gas!? I havnt tried yet when i got my WRX, it had a half a tank and ive been out of town since the day after i got it. filled it up this morning. I Do mostly freeway driving to and from work, how many miles do you expect ill go on a fulltank?

please tell me you know how to calculate your gas mileage...fill up your tank, set the trip odometer to 0.0 by holding in the little button underneith it, drive it til you have to fill up again, take down how many gallons it takes to fill up, see how many miles you have driven on the odometer, divide miles by gallons and you have miles per gallon. Ya! lol

i have an 02 WRX and i get about 18-19 miles to the gallon in town and 24-25 on the highway.

Ya, i know how to do that... lol. I Was just curious how long an average tank of gas lasts..
In my civic before i could get about 315 miles to a full tank with mostly freeway driving.

I drove all highway for about 340 miles on one tank of gas the other day. 02 WRX

The most i have gotten from a tank of gas was about 350 to 360 miles that were all highway miles with my 04 WRX, if i was doing the speed limit i think i could have gotten more but whats the fun in that ;-) lol

yeah you definately can get over 300 mpg with highway driving. i think i usually get around 260-270 in town.

Finally filled up this morning on my way to work, 326.. Thanks guys. i appreciate it. btw, gas finally went down. I Payed $2.19 for premium. that was one hard thing to get used to from going to 87 octain in my civic to 91.. its all good though, worth every penny

I did a Excel thingy to caculate mine over the last 4 months. If I go 200 miles I'm running on fumes.

16.3 mpg 80% city. One highway trip all on the highway was 23 mpg.

yeh... my Saturn (over 100,000mi) gets approx. 40mpg and goes like 460mi. before filling, and even then I can put gasahol in it and it runs fine. The wrx, not so much. 93 octane only, and it will go *almost* 300mi. on a tank (same size tank), and that's not on an autocross weekend. Autocross weekends get me about half that, probably (though I've never actually checked).
