Lightbulb headlights won't go off (1995)

My headlights went on and stayed on without cause. I disconnected the battery hoping they would reset, but no luck. Any ideas? No noises coming from under the dash, or intermittent on/off as others have experienced. Thanks.

Re: headlights won't go off (1995)

I am not sure, but you may have a problem with the sensor in the sentinal switch. Check and see if the switch smells burnt. If so it is a easy fix, however if not you may need to check for an electrical problem. You will need to find an electrical diagram and lay-out for the Auroras.
