Re: lotus espirit

Agree with Vric... there was at least two different version... one with the 4L Turbo and later the V8 version (I think, I should check at home)... both by Monogram and both level 3 because of the number of pieces which was pretty impressive.

There's never been a V8 released as far as I know.
The R/M releases were two different versions of the Turbo 4.
One 'normal' and the other later release a 300 something special edition with different ground effects, wing and wheels.
There are several kits of earler cars as well though most are awful and gratefully long out of production.
I've got a '300' kit, lmk if you want it.

As far as i know, they're only few kit for the Lotus Esprit, except the AMT's, you have the Airfix in 1/24, and perhaps Testors or Entex.
But, in bigger scale, you can find the bandaļ one, in 1/16. It's a very nice model of the first version. I have one to sell, if you're interest, but it's build...

I have the Nichimo model of the 77 Esprit I got from HLJ (now out of production) and I bought an already built 88 Esprit by Revell I'm re-doing as an 89 40th Anniversary Edition. They're REALLY hard to find!

The 300 kit is moulded in green, the regular turbo kit is moulded in white.
I posted a pix of the box above...
