crx motor swap

will the b18c type-r fit in an 89 crx if it will what do i need and where can i get it

yes it will you need a lot of stuff, engine, loom, ecu, box, shafts, knuckles, brakes , and one hell of a lot of money !

how much money u got to throw at it ???? just put in a B16 if ur on a lower budget or ZC for even less

i dont wanna spend more than 10k for stuff under the hood and what about the b18c gsr or the b18b how much work would it be to put in one of those

A b18c5 would cost less than 10k to drop in a crx.

to get a shop to put that engine in your car, i would expect anywhere form 3500 to 5000, especially if they do a fresh rebuild on it

i know the b18c wont cost me 10k i think its only like 3500-4000 i was talkin about everything under the hood not just the motor

It will not cost 10k to completely drop in a b18c5 and have it running. along with all the stuff under the hood

if i get the b18c type-r or gsr after i put turbo on it will cost about 7k if i get the b16a 2st it will cost about 5k not really worried about the money thing ill just have to save more but can the b18c fit

Yes it will fit. If you want to turbo go b18c (gsr) if you want to go all motor go b18c5 (Type R).
