Re: .5 ohm amp question

dual 2 ohm sub will wire to 1ohm or 4 ohms. do positive to positive to positve bridged on amp. Negative to negative to negative bridged on amp.

Re: .5 ohm amp question

oh... I missed that part... I would get two amps IMO.
Or try the DEI mono high end amps. They can handle some abuse. That Amp you are looking at will rape your alternator

Re: .5 ohm amp question

These are my subs, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...1&ssPageName=W
They say there rms is 2000 so i would like to put about if not more then 2000 rms in to each. that is why i need that 1ohm on the amp.

Re: .5 ohm amp question

not as bad as that amp. it is a high current class A/b amplifier... Class Ds are much nicer to the alternator

Re: .5 ohm amp question

you can get two audiobahn 1800t class d's( I think that is the model)

Running them 2 channel at 1 ohm each channel is the same as running them 2 channel bridged at .5ohm

Re: .5 ohm amp question

Those things are fricken expensive, i cant afford that much money, can you recomend and other amps the most i can spend is 500 dollers on ether one amp or on 2 amps, so the 2 amps have to be around 250 each. Thanks
