Re: anybody know how to make this wing?

alot of the import racer diecast cars have similar wings. the evo 7, mrs, and eclipse for sure. looks like who ever made tat wing could have resin copied one of those.
go check it out in wal-mart.

That's a copy of the wing found on some of the Import Racer diecast, just get one of the diecasts and take it off. They are a little too big for 1/24 though.

Re: anybody know how to make this wing?

the main part of the wing (the horizontal part) is roughly the same as the one found in the revell c5r.
The 2 verticals look very similar to an upside down version of the ends of the veilside wing found in the combat 1 rx-7 or the revell civic (older version)

Re: anybody know how to make this wing?

sorry fellas, but it is nothing more than a resin copy of the wing that comes on many import racer diecast cars you can buy at walmart. I can tell b/c i've got a few at my house. plus, in the first pic if you look very close it looks textured. these wings all look like they are carbon fiber, jada simulates c/f by making the wing textured in a patern similar to the way c/f is and that way they don't have to use 2 colors.

This wing matches everyting exactly, the uprights and everything. good guesses though.
I can take pictures later to show you guys, i was thinking about making a few resin copies myself.

that was never the issue. your first reply stated that it was diecast wing and fotw's reply seconded your 'motion'.

we, (well at least I) was trying to help him get there using REAL 1/24 items. Because, as has also been said, those wings are also a bit too big for the cars we build. So my 'good guess' was the next logical step to attempt to help him using experience and what was said earlier in the thread as a starting point.
