Re: Rocker Sizes (350cid)

usualy, unless spacificaly stated, the cam lift is advertised with 1.5 ratio rockers being asumed. if you want to know what the actualy lift on the cam itself is, you would take the .427 and devide by 1.5 and thats what the cam actauly lifs, and then if youw ant to figure out the life with 1.6 rockers, you would multiply that number,(the actaul cam lift), by 1.6. stock ratio is 1.5, i would say thats probably what you want to go with. 1.6 rockers usualy require other modifications to be done, for the most part. atleast it is recomended, but not always mandatory. things like tall valve covers, screw in studs, just stuff like that, plus you need to make sure your springs can hadle it too, just a buch of other stuff like that.

Re: Rocker Sizes (350cid)

order a custom gound cam with the specs you want and try the 1.5 rockers. the more rocker you get, the more stress on the valvetrain.
