93 SE Dash Board Safety Light Question

Hi,

I have a 93 Honda Accord se with 120K miles. It really is in top condition as I have been its only owner.

This question is related to the safety ight on the dash board. On the drivers side next to the odometer there is a top view of the car. When you open a door, a light representing the door is lit on this top view, same as the trunk, etc. Which is normal.

The question and problem is the brake light is lit as if the rear Spoiler light is out. Which it is not. This light stays lit until I shut the car off, and when I restart the car, the light remains off. This happens if the car has been shut off for a period of time, and to turn the light off, I drive the car for about a 100 yards. Then shut the car off and restart. the problem is resolved until the car is shut down for a period of time.

What can I do and how can I fix this?
