carb. adj. hitachi

i have a 84 subaru brat, 1.8 engine, hitachi 2brrl. carb. cannot get high idle down, any help is appreciated. thanks

there might be a idle screw at the front of the carb(facing the car with the hood up),near the lower part of it, might have to remove air filter and hoses
