Installed GPS, now car wont start!
Hey,
Ive just installed a pioneer navigation unit into my 93 honda prelude. I wired all up perfectly and everything worked fine with my microscan aftermarket alarm. I then installed the speedsensor wire for the GPS. Now my car wont start, it is completely dead, i can listen to the stereo and all but the moment i crank the car to start it, the alarm goes off. I did leave the battery connected when i cut the speedsensor wire and i noticed that the car clock did reset itself even though i did not disconnect the battery. I need urgent help. My car wont start! THANKS, FROM FAR AWAY IN GIBRALTAR! |

well, i guess i can try...
where does the speedsensor wire attach? and your alarm (obviously) has an ignition cutoff on it- how is it triggered (motion, voltage drop, vibration, ect)?
