VR4 engine in SL?

Hello, I am probably asking the question that so many people have already asked, so here goes. Will a VR4 motor fit on an SL 5-spd tranny? Will it fit in the car, period? I have a vr4 motor and a brand new SL tranny and I was wondering if it would fit perfectly. Also are there any major modifications that would need to be done? I am about to buy an LSD for the new tranny so that will help with all that power to my front wheels. I guess the main question is does a 6G72TT vr-4 motor fit on a 5-spd SL tranny and fit in the engine bay and motor mounts and shit? Or will i have to get a new tranny or something? Can anyone give me the details? Thanks.

yes the motor will fit, but do you have everything you need to put it in like turbos, intercoolers, intercooler hoses, oil cooler and line, also you will need a front motor mount, downpipe, maybe full exhaust. Oh and ecu too.

The tt swap on a fwd is scary fast on the top end from what i hear, no traction from a stop though.

But you should seriously consider just buying a vr4.

Oh and all this info and everything you would ever want to know is on the 3si.org forum.
