Thumbs up GM Tahoe Fule Pumps

You may want to read my other thread...it was 2002 Tahoe Lemon, Help (on the 9th, I think). Anyway, after a year of misery and lots of problems, we just found out GM has been having fuel pump problems, I believe since 2000 until now. Ours was stalling out or wouldn't start, other peoples gauges wouldn't not work right. Like the gauge would stick then release...Well, GM JUST come out with a new pump. The dealers got the bullentin months ago. The old pump had a metal on them that would corrude from the sulphur in the gasoline, keeping the fuel sensor from working properly. We are now on our fourth fuel pump and hopefully the last for a long time. It's our third one in 13 months. We even called GM customer service last year and they told us nothing, but the manager of customer service called me this time and she has been very helpful and told us to go to a dealer of our choice and they would tend to it. I hope this saves someone else from going through all the problems we have, including ruining a vacation with our 4 grandkids. Good luck to you all.....thanks
