hey guys,
Ive got a 2000 automatic and I was wondering if getting an updated transmission control module and updated shift solenoid will help with the shift lag... Ive read about some people who have gotten them on their 2000's like Y2KevSe and i was wondering if it really made a difference because im not quite ready for the moblietek valvebody upgrade... Also how much does it cost to get the parts and for the labor? Thanx for any responses. You guys are alot of help!

Isn't there a TSB out for the shift lag on 2K models? Check with your dealer and look on Maxima.org in the 5th gen section stickys. The TSBs are listed up there. You may find one for your shift lag. Then go back to your dealer and make them fix it.
