new a/c comp for $700 now hot air???

Well guys, I finally got my compressor replaced. The rattling churning horrible grinding noise was indeed the compressor as you guys suggested. When I left the shop OH WAS MY AIR COLD and thank heaven since its been in the high 80's here in L.A. However, yesterday my air started blowing HOT and the temp. indicator blinks. Any suggestions??? This happened to me when I first bought the car in April I was at a restaurant, when I came back out it was blowing cold again. Last night when returning home @ about 4:00am I needed a little heat and tried the a/c just to see if it was working and it was. WTF????

The blinking is a malfuction indicator. You will need to take it to a shop to see what is causing the indicator and stopping your cold air.

Possible fuse

Hello Hardtimer;

I had thisn happen after replacing the compressor.Started blowing hot air.
It was a fuse located under the left rear seat in the block of fuses.
Once this was done, the system worked without any problems.

Good lock
