supercharger options?

alright guys...i know that i should already know this considering i've trolled this forum tons of times, but here it goes:

is there any other supercharging for the prelude besides the overpriced jackson racing supercharger? i know theres an infinite amount of turbo options, but the only supercharger i see is that one. anybody know of anything else??

Re: supercharger options?

well there's the vortech but you'd certainly have to go with a major custom job with that. i've seen someone do that with a 4th gen. jackson racing is the only company to put together a complete kit for the prelude, 5th gen only. i had one on my prelude and loved it.

you're stuck with the jackson racing as far as a kit is concerned. anything else will have to be custom. as in a centrifugal supercharger, not roots type. not gonna be easy if you ask me.

Re: supercharger options?

dude, with the jackson, there won't be any more
v-tec kicking because the charger manifold does not have a v-tec solenoid. Remember that....

WTF?? where'd you hear that from?

anyway, even with the jrsc, your vtec will work just fine. the engagement won't be AS noticable coz with the blower, you've flattened the power curve substantially. but trust me, it's still there. check your sources again.
