Re: bench seat swap out
i changed my bench out and put leather buckets out of an eclipse in them. the problem was that they wont sit level at all. you ll have to make up some spacers to fix it. or if you got the seats out of a s 10 or blazer or something chevy most like get the seat tracks out of something with the buckets but you ll still need to space em up

Re: bench seat swap out
I have added buckets to every S10 I have owned.
You will have to make up new mounting brackets because it is easier and quicker then trying to use the existing brackets. Also you may have to drill new holes in the floor to mount the seats. Make sure you put some steel plate under the floor for reinforcement. I use 6"x6" square, 1/4" thk plate.

Re: bench seat swap out
Just finished the swap. Got buckets from an '85 Blazer, so outside rail lined up fine. Had to make/drill holes/bolts for inside rail, and the front hole needed spacers. But given I did it all with junk yard trash for $50 (including steam cleaning buckets) - I'm feeling pretty cocky!
