just got a B&M short throw shifter, a 3 gauge pillar, a boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge. installed the shifter (wasn't hard at all) but i have a question that might seem dumb to ask...anyway my shifter always looks weird now...in neutral it kind of leans a bit and when it's in 3rd, it looks like it's in neutral. and it's a little hard to shift to 1st sometimes...i think this is normal but not sure? also the boost gauge seems not too difficult to install but the oil pressure gauge looks a tad bit difficult...anyone have any tips on the installation of an auto meter oil pressure gauge?
thanks for the help |

Re: some new toys
i never really paid any attention to how it sits, i only notice when it doesn't shift right [driver error... DOH!!] now that you have it i can not impart the importance of buying the Symborski Shift Kit from MachV. for like 40 bucks shipped it is by far one of the best investments i have made. shifting is near perfect with the B&M @ 50% throw redux. where as before the 2-3 shift was like 70% there [under WOT accel tactics] it is there 100% now.
all i know about oil pressure gauges is to get an electric one and piggyback the stock gauge. that way you don't have to fool with lines and create soft spots in the lines [ie. human handiwork]. as you should well know by now if you lose your pressure you are gunna CW...
