Kia will be launching a new Sportage later on this year. The new Sportage will debut at the Paris Motorshow next month. Its styling is unconventional, although the rear echos that of the Volvo XC90. Kia is targeting the market leaders with the new Sportage(eg Land Rover Freelander and Toyota RAV4). It will rely on keen pricing, generous equipement and excellent off-road capability. Previously the Sportage only came with one engine the new car will come with a three engine option, a 140bhp 2.0, 114bhp 2.0CRDi-Diesel and a 175bhp 2.7V6. If the Sportage is anything like the Hyundai Tucson on which it is based the CRDi should be the best bet.
