Re: interior painting

Take it all out scuff it up and use a vinal cover and make light coats.. then put about 2-3 clear coats on it.

Re: interior painting

make sure you clean it very good or the paint will not stick very good.

Re: interior painting

How hard is it to do that yourself? better yet how much do you think they charge to do that for you?
or should you just leave it alone cause it would look tacky to paint it anyway?

Re: Re: interior painting

hey chicki, i think the only way it would look tacky is if you didnt have a scheme to it.. i was thinking about painting some of the inside of mine as well, but i was going to do it because i had to get a few parts from a junk yard.. so they dont match! if you have a pretty good sense of colour schemes, you should be allright.. just make sure that you visualize it in your head before you do it

Re: interior painting

well thanks for the input. but all the grey is going to be white soon and the seats are being wrapped in white and red leather. So the interior will be red and white

Re: Re: interior painting

that sounds cool, i have been just goin crazy thinking of a new colour scheme because i want white gauges.. but my car is green.. the interior is all black and grey right now (factory) i was thinking about re-doing the bottom with white and keeping the factory scheme.. just changing the colour.. well all except the glovebox cover.. i cant stand that being a different colour! you should check out this ride on cardomains.com, dude put buckets in the back!
