'57 Corvette progress&finished,lotsa pics
Monogram '57 'vette.I was inspired by a Tim Boyd article in a 2002 issue of Scale Auto.He did a build up of AMT's '57 so I went out and bought Monograms version.Typical of their '70's kits it goes together pretty much as the instructions say.I built mine as a street/drag racer complete with dump pipes and rear slicks.I took off the fuel injection and added dual quads on a tunnel ram and added and wired a distributor.I cut out the hood for the carbies using small drills and files. The colour is GMH Aquarius auto acrilic by Duplicolour and the ivory is Humbrol enamel. After I took the photos I noticed I had left off the coolant hose, interior rearview mirror and steering shaft. They have since been added.Enjoy
