Progress: Aoshima VIP Celsior C-Type

Well while I am painting the Yenko body I wanted to start something I have always wanted. I went to the LHS and finally picked this up

I have wanted this kit for like a year now but I never got it until now! Building american cars got kinda boring anyway and I have always liked japanese executive sedans. Look for pictures as it goes on.

Yeah it looks like a lot of fun to build, I just hope I can do almost as well as you did on your Devils Celsior. By the way since I cannot read Japanese can you tell me what colors I need to usefor everything, all I see are little boxes with shades of grey and then little numbers besides them such as PH[8] etc...

Arent they Gunze paint codes, not sure. I mainly only use Tamiya & Alclad paints, Tamiya rattle cans for the body then Tamiya acrylics on interior & Alclad paints for exhausts & stuff.
Good luck, Mike

Well I use testors and I do not have any money to go out and buy all this new paint so I have to work with what I have for now. Is there a site that has all of the paints in english so that I can match the paint codes and figure out what colors I am supposed to use? I am going to take this car nice and slow to make everything perfect, oh and by the way I know I misspelled 'Celsior' on the title, I tried to fix it but it wont make the change

I still have a lot to do on the wheels, and the front two brakes you see here are no where near done, but the wheels and brakes should be done by later today.
