well thats alot of miles to slap on a turbo. i would rebuild the bottom end first. put in some new pistons, rods, rod bearings....the whole 9 yards. Also get a Block Guard for some extra safety.
ur gonna need to upgrade ur fuel system too, bigger fuel pump, injectors, a FMU adj. fuel pressure regulator. a simple T3/T4 turbo will do u good justice

the turbo size will depend on your hp goal.
if your looking around 350whp+ i would get je pistons(9.0:1cr) eagle rods, new valvetrain(port flow,ferrea,supertech...) send your block to get sleeved.(i reccomend darton) and get a gerret t3/t4 t67 turbo and hondata es200. and your set.

je pistons&eagle rods are the strongest for the price you pay. the pistons are like $550 the rods are like $450 supertech vavletrain is around $500 hondata es200 is about $700 thats all you need if your looking to stay lower than 350whp if you want more power then send your block to darton to get sleeved thats $1500. if i were you id just buy the turbo and hondata right now, and just save tell you have plenty of money to do the rest. |

Ur gonna need to buy low compression pistons for your motor. If ur going turbo, but will only run small amounts of boost like 8-12 PSI then u should get some pistons with a compression ratio of about 9:1

Re: preping engine for turbo
i donno about 8 - 12, on a stock internal motor. 7 is more than likely a max for stock b18. You might last a couple months with anything over 7, but dont plan on it lasting long
<<--- Trust Me Ive Been Through It. Of course I do like to give it hell. Do the build before you bolt it on, otherwise use low lbs.
