Jumpstarting
Hey guys. First off, thanks for all your help. I got my LS up and running again! Had to replace the valve cover gaskets, plugs, one coil and the MAF sensor. Warranty covered most of it, all together it was about $400 bucks.
Anyway, I need to jump another car, what would be the best way to jump from my lincoln? I couldn't find any "predetermined" spots to hook the cables up to, other than the battery. Is there any special way to do this with this car? Let me know! Thanks! |

Re: Jumpstarting
well duh, i know how to jump a car. i've put together plenty of cars to know what i am doing. i was just asking if there was any special places on the car that i need to know of. like my stratus, for example. it has designated spots to hook the cables to. thats all i was asking.

Re: Jumpstarting
Not that I'm aware of...
I STONGLY suggest you get a looong set of cables to keep under the spare in your trunk. In a full parking lot, it can be a REAL pain to jump. I've never needed a jump myself (in the LS), but I've given a few.

Re: Jumpstarting
the picture in the trunk shows to use the (+) of the battery and the pole in the middle of the spare to jump the car
