Question engine stops while driving or idling

Could use some help. this is for a '95 GC laredo, 4.0 I6

when driving or idling at stop light/sign the car will totally shut off. This has been random over the past couple of years. say once every six months. It recently has done it more often, like 6 times this past week. After every shutoff it would start back up and drive as if nothing happened.

I 've replaced filters, distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil, plugs and wires. any ideas. I've read in earlier threads comments about replacing PCM and/or crankshaft sensor.

Any suggestions or what not would be most appreciated.

thanks for the input XJ31.

After seeing that same comment for several other similar problem threads I looked thru the Jeep shop book I have. Read over it. Doesn't sound difficult to get at, check and possibly replace. It's $89 here thru Jeep or $60 something thru NAPA. Gotta get to it soon.
Thanks again.
