I have a 1989 Town Car and the fuel pump continues to run after ignition is shut off. (Loud buzzing coming from inside the fuel tank) If I don't disconnect the battery...it will die overnight. I have been told it is the relay (which I cannot locate) OR an ignition problem OR a dirty "sock" around the pump itself. I do not want to drop the gas tank unless I must. Any help here??? (I did replace the fuel line a few months ago, but cannot detect any leaks)
