Takon Fails Emission test
Hey I have a 91 Eagle Talon and the other day it failed the etest! It passed all of the emissions tested at idle but then once the car was being driven under load it failed Carbon monoxide, Hydrocarbons, and Nitric Oxides. Does anyone know what possibly could cause all this for a talon? If anyone have any ideas give me a shout! Thanks

does ur check engine light come on? u may have a bad o2 sensor.. i know when i failed all of them it was my sensor.. so check that out first.. also it wouldn't hurt to change ur oil before u go up next time.. and ur air filter.. good luck!

holy crap u flunked ALL the tests. O2 sensor is right, usually is the prob, BUT could very well b the catalytic conv. My freinds 96 GST failed too and then we got the cat changed and we were given a green light, two bogies heading inbound, 2, 3, 5, 9er, heading your way Volstolk one you have... damn Commanche for screwin with my brain.

yaaa I failed all three it was brutal! by the way its a non turbo... but ya I threw a new 02 sensor in today....the old one was nice a sooted up and im getting it retested tomorrow! I hope its not the cat also screwed although i can get one for 100 anyways but their just a pain to put in. Hopefullllllly its only the sensor! god i hate etests!!!!
