Tranny Problem . . Hydrolic System going bad?
Yea once again its me with a new problem . .
My tranny is going bad and im not sure what i need to fix . . here goes . In the mornings my clutch is basically on the floor and i have to pump it a couple times to get i to go into other gears . . when i go past 80 or so the clutch pedal gets really weak and engages too close to the floor . . i bought clutch fluid and filled it up but im not sure why sometimes my clutch gets weak . . feels like there is no pressure being put into the tranny . . and sometimes when the rpm's are too high it grinds 5th. . someone told me get my slave and master cylinders checked out . . . but im really depressed . . any ideas? Thanks |

96 DOHC VTEC . . 112,000 miles on it. . . today i was trying to bleed the clutch to see if air got in . . but i couldnt find the right tool and the hurricane "charley" is gettin ready to spank us . . i was also told it could be the slave cylinder.
