Getting rims, tire size question
I've got a 2002 5speed Civic Coupe. I'm getting 16 inch rims, and by my calculations i need 205/50 R16 tires.
Will those fit without rubbing the fenderwell? Will they still fit after i drop it about an inch and a half? Advise/Comments appreciated. --Drew

Re: Getting rims, tire size question
They will fit perfectly even with the inch and a half drop. I have a friend who has a 2001 coupe civic with 17 inch 45/215 tires and a 1 and a half inch drop.
Dont worry, you can even go lower

Re: Getting rims, tire size question
if you're worried about fitment issues, use a 205/40 tire, it's the norm for 16 and 17" wheels on a civic anyhow.
