Trouble Code P0442

Does anyone know where the canister vent solenoid valve is located on a 98 olds bravada? I've been told that this valve is being clog up and this is what is giving me a trouble code of p0442. I have already replace the gas cap and the service engine soon light still comes on.

Any help would be greatly appreciaitive. Please respond here as soon as possible and my email address of [email protected]

Re: Trouble Code P0442

OK, here's what I found out. The vent solenoid in the engine compartment must be replace. The part cost about 30.00 bucks. Do not confuse this part with the fuel vent solenoid in the back of the truck. This will fix the P0442 error code and the serice engine soon light. I hope this helps fellow Bravada owners..........
