Audi plans to release new S8 in 2006
I don't have any pictures of it yet, but from what I read and heard, it should have the same styling as the A8, and the same style ringed grille in the front like the A8 W12. Instead of having a V8 as the new S8's powerplant, Audi says they will use associated Lamborghini's V10 used in the Gallardo for the S8. It should be entertaining. I will post pictures, when I get them, and when I figure them out. hehe.

UPDATE: Initial plans were that the engine would share the V10 of the Lamborghini Gallardo but Audi is leaning more to a variation of a bi-turbo V8.
Prices have not yet been released.

Hang about here, what is the point of having such a brilliant engine in the 6.0 W12 (and it is fantastic) and then downgrading the engine in the flagship modle to a courser V8. The V10 I can understand, but a V8! even the S6 and RS6 will have a V10, so wht not the S8.
(a lot of 8's in that post, haha :-P)
