newer rims on an old car

i was wondering...would the 6-spoke 17" 2k-2k3 SE rims fit on an 89 SE? i saw them on one today, i was just wondering if there was any modifications to the studs needed to be done, and the wheel wells...

Re: newer rims on an old car

you've gotta find out the bolt pattern. our cars use a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. if they use the same on the 3rd gens then you should be in luck

Re: newer rims on an old car

i'm pretty sure it's a standard measurement. if it's listed as 114, then it's probably 114.3. i can't say 100%, but i doubt there'd be a problem
