Angry rear seat latch broken

My rear passenger seat has a broken latch. The latch is the one that lowers the seat into a flat position. The latch moves, but it's not engaging anything, so the seat won't go down. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Re: rear seat latch broken

I have the same problem on the rear driver side seat. I can see all the latch mechanisms and they seem to be working just like the other side, but the damn seat won't fold. Were you able to get a solution ? If so, please let me know. If not, can anyone please help ?

I'm probably just gonna loosen all the bolts and take the seat out completely. There has to be a way to fix this thing.
