Removal of Door Panel (2000 LS)

Okay Ive already had to swallow my pride on this matter so here goes, how in the world do I remove the driver's side door panel? I need to fix my power window because it no longer goes down, which I understand is a common deficiency in the 2000, but if I cant remove the panel needless to say I cannot fix the window. Now I am just being an alice because I am afraid to put a lot of might into pulling it off.

I have a 98 and the door panel is easy. First unscrew the door handle plate. Then there is a little bolt underneath the armrest, take it out. Pop up the window and powerlock bar (just pry up). Then use a flat head screwdriver to pry the bottom of the door panel off and keep pulling around the panel. there are little tension plugs inside but they just pop off. Good Luck.

Re: Removal of Door Panel (2000 LS)

pick up a chiltons or Haynes repair manual for your truck.

Tells you step by step how to do it with pictures.

Best 10-15 bucks you will ever spend.
