dont know much about speed or engines but my 2.2 kicked a turbo celica's ass and it didnt go downhill after 3rd...she rocked even harder when i was in third...but there was too much traffic comin up quick so i had to back down but i did kick his ass and thoroughly...he even admitted it...not bad for a stock engine
 if i would have noticed the thread before i would have said the sunfire, day late-dollar short..thats me

Its nice to hear a sunfire win. In my Automatic 2.4 i smoked...
A 3.1L Cavalier Z24 5 speed A 3.1L Grand Prix 5 speed A 1.5L Turbo Scoupe 5 speed A 2.0L Celica Automatic A 2.2L Accord 5 speed I don't usually race, but i haven't lost yet :-)

sunfiregirl 96 thats the most BS i have ever heard! lol a TURBO Celica vs a 115 hp 2.2 Sunfire <~~~~~~ i use to have one and that thing was slow as hell! and now i have a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (turbo) it would have KILLED!!!!!!!! my sunfire

Know what Eclipse....if ya had read my sig...or the post for that matter you would see that I dont know much about my engine or its horsepower...nor would i know what the celica has...
I DO know HOW to drive my car...I wont back down from a race, I'll give it my all and if my car doesnt win I will be the first to admit it... Obviously the guy didnt know how to drive his car...otherwise he would have kicked my ass...seriously! Before ya wanna trash someone or what they have said...seriously think about what you are saying....to some people the smaller the gain the better...we all dont drive souped-up beasts with all the engine mods and stuff on them..... Think about it....you just said that your car now (the eclipse) would have kicked your sunfires ass...and i'm sure it would have...so ya wanna tell me why since you are so "impressed" with your car that you would be looking into buying a honda? ...not to be a jackass or n e thing....lol

well first of all if he didnt know how to drive y would he have a turbo??? second of all y do u think it was a turbo???? and third of all, i think my car might have crank walk, not that you would know what that is (not to be a jackass or n e thing) lol any more questions??? ha! 115 hp sunfire beat a turbo celica funny. r u sure he wasnt just messing with you because you even tried to race him im mean ur car being a sunfire and his a turbo celica he probably didnt want to waste his time lol

Did I buy the man's car? Hell no....why would i know why he bought the car? how did I know it was turbo?...I think I talked to him after the race....put 2 and 2 together....And ya the blow off might have given it away.....like I have never heard that before..
And again my dear boy.....read my last post.....I am pretty positive I said the guy didnt know how to drive....no he wasnt trying to mess with me... he started the race...i wasnt even in the mood, gave him a 2 second advantage..then kicked his ass..now enough said on the subject... go back to your mitsubishi forum (or honda..if thats what you are into..)buy yourself a little ricer car and get off the sunfire forum... I have no more to say...

my sunfire sounds like it's turbocharged, it shocks people when I tell them that it always sounds like that. it comes from my butterfly in the TB and it's SUPER loud with my cai.

ok well i didnt know that you were smart enough to know it a turbo since you seem to think your sunfire can beat a turbo charged Celica i mean you know that the dumbest thing i have ever heard and what did you do lol stop and get out and talk to the guy????? lol ok???????? ok well i will be content with my eclipse that is worth racing (turbo charged) while you have fun telling everyone you "beat" a turbocharged celica and u have fun racing ur little sunfire there enough said peace

I know the guy...and his buddies... and we all meet up at the local coffee shop...so ya I did talk to him...
but this one really seems to be hitting a nerve with you tho...maybe you or your buddies got beat by a little old sunfire or a neon...or even better a girl and now anytime someone..especially a girl claims anything you get right choked....  and to hotbug...mine sounds louder too...and turbocharged..but thats only between 2nd and 3rd and how I shift...and the tornado filter does make it sound louder too...  I cant believe this post is still going....
