Maintenance Required Timer

[88 ROCKET]

I have a 92 Wrangler and after passing 82,500 miles the timer turns on the " Maint Required" light on the dash. The timer is supposed to be located on the fire wall next to the accelerator. IT ISN'T THERE!!!
Any ideas as to where it could be?, I have checked both Haynes and Chiltons with no luck.

90 was the last year for that timer.in yours its in the pcm it can be reset with a scanner
