Header help

Will long tube headers work on a s10 v8 conversion? Is there any way to make them work? I'm just using the s10 frame and putting a whole other body over it.
thanks for any help,
Jeff

Re: Header help

No, regular headers will not work. The issue is the distance from the engine block to the inside edge of the frame. It is just too tight to fit normal headers in that space. On top of that there is no space left when the starter is put on and the steering shaft/linkage in the way; regardless of what body you put on. They do make aftermarket headers for a V8 S10 conversion that works around the tight spaces. You might want to check out www.jaguarsthatrun.com for any info.
