fuel rail

I had a tiny hole in my fuel rail back in 2002 on my 95 aurora. I smelled gasoline for a few days took it in to the shop and they said they could not let me take it out of there, very dangerous! Spraying gas on the top of the engine. Called dealer, no recall. Will check more. We also have had to replace the complete fuel line since the rail replacement

Re: fuel rail

I had the same problem and use a temporary fix of pressurized heating/coolant hose pipe. Then I began my campaign with GM to get the 95 models included. The original recall was only for the later models. Well after complaining for about three weeks, I was able to get a local dealership here in Chicago to honor the original recall. There are other posts here with various owners getting their cars included. Good luck!
