With the world oil price on a pemanent upswing, it's time to give these odd?-sounding vehicles a serious thought. While the prototypes put out by the major manufacturers have had mixed results, I'm sure with public support the glitches would be worked out and our future generations will wonder what the fuss was all about. What do members think?

Re: Hybrid vs traditional engines
At this point in time, I'd rather just get a small sporty four-banger, like a Civic EX or Corolla XRS, than a hybrid.

Re: Hybrid vs traditional engines
When you give us a poll, you have to give us the option of saying No, I Do Not support hybrids.
Hybrids rob horsepower, but they only do it to the people who own a hybrid car. Namely: Hippies. And it's perfectly okay to keep hippies from hurtling to a high speed
