My pickup began idling low about a week ago. This initially happened when it would not start on the first try. When I would get it started (with just a little gas) I could make it idle properly by reving the motor to about 5 grand.
Eventually it would not idle at all. I replaced the fuel filter plugs and air filter to no avail. I am not getting any indicators on the guages. EGR maybe? If so where the heck is it? Thanks for your help. -Rob |

Re: 2000 Ranger Low idle rpm
its probly youre IAC or MAF. Clean/replace both of them. Also, try to keep the redling to a minimum.
