I got mine off ebay...twice...the first ones I got said they were the brightest and bluest ones on Ebay, that was a lie. They were not even blue when lit up even tho the bulbs were plus the got VERY hot. So after 20,000 miles having them all 24/7 one of them blew and I went back on ebay and got some other ones. Now the ones I have now are MUCH better, they are blue when lit up and my friends are always saying my headlight are bluer than before. So if you get them on Ebay be sure your getting the right ones. email me when you picked out the ones you want to get online and I'll tell you if you should get them from them of if they are the cheap ones.

plasmalights.com has ones that come with a 10 year warranty. they sell for $70, but on ebay they have the bulbs for less than 20. the seller name is plasmalights.com or plasma industries.com, not sure.

A lot of my friends use the Hiper Industries bulbs off ebay, they have all had them for at least a year and had no problems, they are really blue and a lot better than stock bulbs, thats the ones i recommend, you can get them around 22 bucks shipped, i just won some last week but the seller never replied.....

Lightbulb

heres an option. i had 80w krypton bulbs, but i wanted them brighter. so i took a lower wattage(65) 9005, trimmed the tabs and put it in the lowbeam spot.

Supershawn:

technically you can, cause i got pulled over once for having polarg signals. i asked, why cant i have blue lights when all the lexus', etc. have them. he said it was illegal for me to make aftermarket modifications... but if it come from the manufacture like that, its ok.

but since then, i have blue headlights & bumper lights, and i put the signals back to amber. havent been pulled yet, and i actually drove right past 2 cop cars last night. i think they wont tend to be a dick as much because i have the amber lights like youre supposed to have.

fyi, my head and bumper lenses are actually, blue. i tinted them with a transparent blue dye to match my grill

heres the pic of my lights. i took it during the day so they dont show up that well, but you get the idea. btw, they're 60w 9005's in the lowbeam spot. and i rewired the bumper signals to stay on like that. i did that cause i wanted to get rid of the fogs.

When I had my Plasmas, I paid like 50 bucks or something from www.nextcollection.com They were very bright and did have a nice blue tint. You can find every bulb for your car at that website.

i use toucan eurolite bulbs for both low and high beams. they have a mild blue tint, so i like 'em. i got them through street beat customs. i wanted to get piaa bulbs, but i couldn't really justify the cost...

wal-mart actually has philips hid wannabe bulbs for cheap...

yeah, the hid conversion kits cost a ton. hopefully in the future car manufacturers make hid lights the standard...they're way more efficient and last a lot longer since they don't have filaments like regular bulbs.

the cops haven't bothered me about my bulbs...yet. i have clear corners and bumpers all with amber bulbs, so i don't attract too much attention. i suppose if you had rainbow xenon bulbs, you would probably get pulled over. but since there are so many new cars with blueish headlights, you'll blend right in with the rest of 'em

technically the bluish tint bulbs are illegal, due to reasons that the color is reserved for the police, at least thats what I've heard from people that have gotten tickets for them. The purplish (sp?) bulbs are legal, and if you look at actual HIDs, they have a purplish tint to them.
