Re: help needed

Welcome to the Forum!

The PCM is a digital computer (powertrain control module) It regulates ignition timing, air-fuel ratio, emission control devices, charging system, certain transmission features, speed control, air conditioning compressor clutch engagement and idle speed.. They are fairly expensive and dont fail very often.. I would do a quick a/c clutch test and pressure test before you replace the PCM.. if you arent able to, bring it to an a/c specialist and have them check it out

Re: help needed

yea... not likely that the computer is at fault for an A/C problem. Have a professional investigate A/C system. Most will diagnose for free or relatively cheap.
