effects on auto loc hubs w/3" coil spacers?

i was woundering if anybody out there have a 3" coil spacer lift on a 02 taco with push button 4wd has ever had any problems?? like CV boots, propeller shaft damages?

because i was looking at a fabtech coilover lift 0-3.5 and there was a footnote saiing that with auto locking hubs can only be lifted to 2.5".

also what is the best inexpensive lift kit out there totaling 6" lift?

and does anybody have any rims for sale 15x8 6bolt 5.5, 4.75 backspacing?

I have a 2000 taco with the fabtech and auto hubs and have it lifted to full 3.5 with no prob, also have 2 other friends with 3" spacers and auto hubs with no prob. We all have a 1" diff drop on as well wich makes a big difference in cv angles. The 1" diff drop was only 30 bucks so it is pretty cheap to drop that. Hope that helps you out.

Re: effects on auto loc hubs w/3" coil spacers?

high you crank your coilovers, the worse the ride will be...plus you'll have no downtravel....reason why they say 2.5" is cuz your cv boots will rub, and eventually they'll blow...which means you'll have to replace them and that's no fun...cheapest way to lift 6" is 3 inch spacer plus 3" body lift....and your backspacing on your rims is way too much...you need 3.75" backspacing with a 15" wheel
