Information screen

I bought a 2001 windstar sel, and about a week after we had it, the info screen went blank. Its the screen that tells you direction and temp. and so on. After a week with the blank screen, we can now read it but not totally clear. Did anyone else have this problem?

Did you buy it "as is" or did you get a warranty? If you have a warranty, take it back and let them deal with it. Don't know anything about those electronic dashboards other than they are a PITA and cost a lot more than they are worth.

bought asis and donot think its worth repairing unless is something simple.
