Location of ATF Filler Bolt

Hey Guys

Can anyone tell me where to find the ATF filler bolt...there's not picture or description of its location in my service manual.

I'd like to change the ATF for my first time but I can't find where to put the new stuff in...kind of a problem huh.

Psquared

Re: Location of ATF Filler Bolt

if your car is V6, then it's on top transmission, if you look over air intake tube you should see big bolt (21mm), that would be it.

If its I4 then you have to use dip stick tube as filler.

Thanks

Yep, I found it...thanks...now how do you get it off? There isn't much room to operate down there and it's hard to get any leverage.

18" extension would help.
if you don't have it, you can remove air intake tube to clear space up and get some room.
