Re: Aussie/NZ Dudes...

A bogan is like a westie. Has a mullet hair cut, drinks a lot of domestic beer etc. Similar to a 'Southern Redneck'.

And you can all fuck off because I'm driving a Falcon at the moment.

Re: Aussie/NZ Dudes...

Oz nailed it. They also wear black, have shaved heads, and wear metallica and slayer t shirts.

Most likely seen in a white ford falcon, 1987ish model with a great big FORD banner across the window and cut springs. Any car that has less than 8 cylinders is not a real car.

Re: Aussie/NZ Dudes...

Hmmmmmm same motor I had in my Aussie-assembled Cortina.....several different ones, actually.

To think that 15 years ago I paid more for a 10 year old Cortina than I paid last month for a 10 year old Skyline....

Re: Aussie/NZ Dudes...

Naki - Major ouch! The fucker has no throttle response (damn carbies), but put the boot in hard enough and it moves. Maybe something to do with the lazy torque converter too.

Hyatus - you've got it the wrong way around. Why the fuck is it a trunk? They're usually found on elephants mate.

Re: Aussie/NZ Dudes...

yup, send the motor a postcard when you plan to overtake anything, and don't forget to switch off while refueling, otherwise the pump won't be able to keep up.Another handy hint,Wynns For Oil will not help, unless you put 2 bottles in and sell the fucker quick.

Other than that, the bogan box sounds like a useful town car.don't forget to get the fluffy dice and the Maccas drivethru VIP sticker.

Actually, the correct "Bougan in training" car is a 1984 Ford Laser painted poo-brown.

Driving a late model Falcon/Commodore is fun if you like watching people quickly slow down to 110 km/h as you approach them on the motorway. XR6's/XR8's/SS' are driven by businessmen remembering the days when they took the old mans brand-new HQ Holden out and did wheelies.

Spot on mate. The amount of unconsumed McDonalds in the car when purchased from Campbelltown was amazing! 2 full vacuum cleaner bags of it. I have entire collections of happy meal toy sets to put on ebay and get the $250 I spent on the car back
